DFS acts as a family partner to establish budget and spending ground rules. DFS addresses the current life management needs of your loved one. We strive to meet two main goals for the parent of family:

1. Short Term Respite - Relieve you from from the day-to-day chores of managing the person’s finances (bill paying, etc).

2. Separation and Autonomy - Be the qualified third party manager to take over the responsibility of launching your loved one’s independent life so you can see it happen in a planned manner.

We help your loved one live as independently as possible with the aid of available resources, such as public benefits, private insurances, and family assets. Working with our community based therapeutic and case management partners, DFS provides the platform to improve the long term quality of life for our clients with cognitive, psychiatric, or neurological disabilities.
